Alice in Wonderland 2010
Hi Everyone!
Today I have OPI’s highly coveted Mad as a Hatter, from the 2010 Alice in Wonderland collection.
This polish is the second glitter in the collection, with a clear base and a dense mix of mostly silver, purple, green, gold, and red glitters. There are FOUR listings for this polish on eBay, ranging from $55 to $70 (!) and is considered a VHTF (very hard to find).
The first coat has a very nice glitter payoff, and it could be a nice topper for a black / grey / white polish. The second coat fills in a lot of the gaps. The third one completely seals the nail and you get a great sparkly shine. This one would definitely need at least one, maybe two, layers of top coat to keep the shine (those glitters really soak up the top coat!). It was a pain to remove, the glitter gets everywhere! Remember to “place & swipe” the cotton.
I don’t know if I myself would pay $60-65 for the polish on eBay, but I know this one definitely belongs in the collection archives! How many of you out there have this shade?
