Brights 2005
Hi Everyone!
Today I have for you OPI’s Gargantuan Green Grape (the green one), from the Brights collection in 2005.

This one makes me wish I’d started this blog sooner, so I would’ve gotten this out to you in the beginning of summer. But you can find this polish anywhere, so you can still wear you some to the beach! =)

This first coat was very sheer, kind of streaky, and wanted to flood my cuticles. The second coat did deepen the color, but I still did a thick third coat, just to get rid of any streaks and VNLs. I myself don’t have patience to wait for 3 thicker coats to dry, and I didn’t wait for this one to dry completely (if I want my nails painted for the week, I turn my polishes into gels – it’s easy, and I’ll tell you what I do and how I do it in another post!).
So, there were apparently two different batches for this polish – there was one that was slightly more green (this baby right here), and one that had more of a blue tone to it (which I would love to have as well). These are both called Gargantuan Green Grape - I don't know if they have different identity numbers (i.e. NL ###). They're both circulating around in blog sales and eBay. I think they’re both super cute for the summer either way, but the greener version obviously matches its name a bit more!
Any of y’all have the blue Gargantuan Green Grape? Which color do you like better?
